I've spent many years building, operating, and exiting businesses — not studying them.

I remember watching my dad on sales calls with a genuine enthusiasm for people and problem-solving that's hard to find. That stuck with me. It wasn't long before I started on my own path — building a rental portfolio and then building companies from the ground up. In every single one of those businesses, I worked with my own two hands. Swept the floors. Took the hard calls. Handled the tasks nobody else wanted.

I started and sold three separate businesses. Each one taught me something the last one didn't. Along the way I also developed residential real estate personally, spent time at General Electric learning how large, disciplined organizations think and operate, and worked at a futures trading firm where decisions are made under pressure and precision matters.

The moment that changed everything was selling my own business.

It was complex, high-stakes, and had the potential to fall apart. I could have gone at it alone. Instead I worked with a trusted broker and a proven process — and what could have been the most complicated transaction of my life became something I crossed the finish line with confidence. That experience sits at the center of why I do this work today.

On a deeper note - as to the reason I do this work: I'm a husband — married since 2008 — and a father of four incredible children. Everything I've built, every deal I've worked, every early morning and late night has been about creating something worth passing on. Legacy isn't a word I throw around lightly. It's the reason I show up every day and take this work seriously. My clients aren't just transactions. They're people with families, employees, and years of their lives poured into what they've built. I understand that. I respect it. And I don't take lightly the trust they place in me to help them get to the other side.
